Welcome to the Vendor Profile

   Table of Contents

The vendor profile is home to all information that is relevant to that vendor. You can check the company information, billing agreements, service history, and much more all from the vendor profile. There are many tabs for the vendor profile, and these are broken down in their own page.

Details

The Details section of the profile allows you to make edits to the DBA, Type, Entity, or even the trades that the vendor services. Select the pencil 'edit' icon on the details section will bring up this edit pop-up window:

Vendors can edit their information for their company to add or remove trades that they service as well.

Contacts

If you need to know who you need to reach out to or how to reach out to your vendor, the Contacts section has you covered. Your vendor can upload contacts to their own profile so that you can see who to get in touch with for your Work Order needs. You can also update and add your own contacts to the vendor profile.

Billing

If you and a vendor have negotiated billing terms for the work completed between your companies, this billing section stores that information. You can select the pencil icon to edit the Invoice Days and Term Days for future work that is completed with that vendor.

The Term Days and Invoice Days auto-populate when invoices are submitted to you by the Vendor based on what you have input here in the vendor profile.

Addresses

Keep track of a vendors Business, Billing, and Shipping addresses in the Vendor Profile. When you need to send materials to your vendors warehouses, or mail a payment to an office, you can go to the vendor profile and confirm the addresses. Your vendors can add their own addresses, and you can also add/update the information as needed.

Resale Certificates

Adding a Resale Certificate for the vendor will make it so that any proposal or invoice that is created in the state/province that the certificate is set for will not generate tax. Your vendors will be able to see the resale certificates that are uploaded to them.
