There are 2 places to begin creating a client. The first place is the Client list page, which has a '+' button to begin creation. The 'Create' button in the top nav bar will also allow you to create a client profile in Umbrava.

Client Details

The first step to creating a client is inputting the client details. Any field that has an asterisk is required to be filled out when creating the client.

  • You have the option of inputting a 3rd Party Platform that the client uses.
  • In the Platform fields, you can dictate which Facility Management software they currently use and where to access.
  • The Service Instruction field is to provide a place to put the same direction on a work order for what the client requires in order for a job to be considered complete.

Address

The Client Address is where they have their headquarters. The address is different from Locations which we go over in the Location overview. Addresses here are where we would need to handle any billing, business, or shipping of materials (outside of service locations).

  • The address will be validated in the creation modal.
    • We validate locations through Googles validation system.
  • If the address is not valid from the input address, you will be given the option to manually input the Latitude and Longitude.
  • Once latitude and longitude are input, the system will validate the location.

Once a first address is input, you will be given the option to add more or move on to the next step.

Billing

The final step in the stepper requires you to input the clients billing information. You can put the clients Invoice instructions which will serve as directions to have your invoices properly submitted and paid by the client.

This information is all editable from the profile once it is created, in case processes change.
