Creating a Work Order

Created by Kenneth Abad, Modified on Tue, 16 Jan at 11:29 AM by Kenneth Abad

The Work Order takes every detail that we have put in for clients and vendors, and uses it to power our goal of efficient facility maintenance. You can use this information to create a work order for your own locations.

To get this started, we have 2 options. We can create a work order from the Work Order List, or from the top nav bar 'Create' button. Both of these options bring us to the Create Work Order pop up screen.

  • The fields that are grayed out upon opening the screen will unlock once the prerequisite information is input.
    • For example, Asset will be available once a Location is selected
  • With permissions, you can assign a vendor during the work order creation process.
  • Work Order Types are used for reporting purposes, auto-assign, and can be any of the following:
    • Found on PM
    • Invoice
    • Preventative
    • Project
    • Proposal
    • Reactive
    • Rental
    • Scheduled
    • Survey
    • Warranty
  • All information that is input on creation will fill in the created work order.

Once all information has been input, hit 'Create' and the work order will be generated!
