2023.46: Project Contacts

Features:    

Project Contacts (US-5821): Projects are seeing an update this week that is going to change a few things. First, we have added a place to keep Project Contacts.

Project Contacts will be kept on the Details page of the Project. The contacts can be set for either a vendor or a client in your project. To create a contact: Hit the '+' button at the Contacts section Input the contacts information You are required to enter either a phone number and/or an email address for the contact. Hit the 'Save' Button

Contacts can be right-clicked to be made a Main Contact, which keeps them at the top of their list, or edited/deleted. 

To make room, we had to move notes. Notes now has its own tab at the top where the Scratchpad is, and they now share the page.

Notes will continue to function as normal in the project. They can still be shared, emailed, downloaded as expected.

Project Contacts comes with a new permission to allow you to add/edit the contacts in the project.

In-line Editing on Project Timeline (US-5868): Project Timeline tasks information can now be edited from the sidebar instead of having to open up the modal to update the information. Use tab to easily go between fields and fill out information much more quickly. Any changes made on the sidebar, will update the Gantt chart in the timeline as well.

Added in User Presence indicator on WO Proposal page (US-6227): We have added the user indicator to the top right of the Work Order Proposal pages. This should help prevent users from editing proposals simultaneously.

Invoice Required Tile Update (US-6252): The Invoice Required Tile on the Vendor Work Order Summary Dashboard has been updated to exclude work orders with $0 DNEs.

Email Subject Line Updates (US-6379): The subject lines of our automated emails have been updated to help prevent the emails from being combined in certain email app grouping settings when they shouldn't be.

'Other' Compliance Type no longer required Document (US-6046): Compliance has gotten an update that will no longer require a document to be uploaded for the 'Other' type of compliance when adding to a vendor profile.

Bug Fixes: 

Project Note Details displays unassigned PO's in "Shared With" dropdown (US-4634): Unassigned PO's will no longer display in the "Shared With" drop down, as there is nobody to share the note to in the PO.

Save/Cancel gets cut off on Project Notes when sharing with multiple tenants (US-6286): We have made an update to the 'Share Note' modal in projects. Now when sharing the note to multiple people, the Save/Cancel button will no longer be cut off.

Project Permission issues (US-6199): We have fixed a couple of bugs with Project Permissions that were causing the app to behave unexpectedly.

Vendor Assignment Modal List Persisting filters, but list does not follow filter (US-6053): We have fixed a bug that was causing the Vendor Assignment Modal to visually show that it is being filtered, when it was not. This visual bug has been fixed.

Project Overview list discrepancies (US-6022): We have fixed 2 bugs with the Projects Overview list that was displaying the incorrect date for the 'Task End Date' and with the incorrect task types displaying in the overview.

Project Timeline Finish dates are off by one day for Timeline's flowing to other Tenants in Project (US-6265): This bug has been fixed and the dates display as expected.

Tooltips on WO Note Context Menu selections display under Context Menu and can't be viewed (US-6002): We fixed a bug that was hiding the tooltips on the WO Note Context Menu. Now the tooltips will appear over the context menu when opened.

Tax Summary on proposal (US-6008): We have fixed a bug that was causing the Tax Sum on the Cost Table to be different from the Tax Total on the Summary. The Summary and Cost Table will now match as expected.
