What Is Auto-Assign?
Auto-Assign allows you to set up vendors that will automatically be assigned to receive work orders.
The vendors can be set up to be assigned per location, and will be assigned by the Work Order type, and the Trades of the Work Order.
Setting Up Auto-Assign
You can set up vendors to be auto-assigned from the Locations tab of the company profile. Clicking into a location and going to the last tab labeled 'Auto-Assign' will let you check and add new vendors to be auto-assigned.
Setting up the vendors will require you to input the WO Type and Trade(s) for the vendor to be assigned.
'Default' will make it so that it could be any and all of the types or trades that are selected for a work order at the location.
Anytime a work order is created, and the auto-assign criteria is met, Umbrava will automatically input the vendor that was set up into the 'Assign Vendor' field of the Create Work Order screen.
If not assigned during work order creation, the vendor will auto-fill into the assign vendor modal on a purchase order for the work order.
Auto-Assign also will pull the vendors Default NTE if that is set up for the vendor and the work order meets all criteria for that.
