2024.35: Document Drag & Drop and Compliance Approval

Features:

Document Drag & Drop (US-7378):

Adding documents throughout the app has been improved in quite a few areas. Let's break it down!

The document sections themselves have been updated to now allow you to drag and drop directly to the document section. You will no longer have to click the '+' button near the documents.

Releasing the documents directly into the drop zone will open up a screen to input the information for your documents. You can drag up to 25 documents to get started, and a new loading bar will show you the real time progress of the loading of your files.

We've updated the document screen when adding documents to be as helpful as possible. You will still have to input the required information, but can continue to add more while uploading.

If you forget to input a required label, the screen will now automatically scroll up to the missing document label to assist you with filling in anything you need.

You will still be able to use the '+' or 'Upload' button to open up the document screen, and perform all actions through the modal that opens when dragging directly onto the page.

All document sections in the app have been updated with this change.

Compliance Approval Flow (US-6812): For a detailed breakdown, click these links:

  1. Vendors: Compliance
  2. How-To: Handle Compliance
  3. Client: Vendor Compliance

Vendors will now be able to submit compliance items to their clients in order to have the client review, and approve or reject the compliance items.

The compliance pages for our users have all been updated to allow for these changes, so lets take a look at all the new changes.

The company profile has new tabs for you to upload/take action on. For Vendors, we have 2 new tabs: Needs Action, and W9 & Certifications.

The Needs Action tab hold all client compliance items that need you to either renew or resubmit compliance information to keep you active in the app.

You may notice the '!' symbol on the compliance items. This indicator shows any item that requires you to take action. In the screenshot above, you'll see compliance items that are Expiring Soon, or Expired. These items need you to renew the compliance for your client.

W9 & Certification tab hold compliance items that are for your company, and are automatically shared to all clients.

For Clients, the new tab is called 'Pending Approval'. This tab hold all compliance items that have been submitted by your vendors that have yet to be approved or rejected.

You can review the information for the compliance here, and take your actions as needed. This tab also has the '!' indicator to show you when you have items in the tab that you need to look at. Once the tab is empty, the indicator will go away.
