Creating Invoices Easier (US-8316): We've updated the process of creating Invoices to help bring forward the important information and help you input your invoice details more easily.
The invoice creation process has been modified to show what fields are editable more clearly, and to create a new stage of invoice called "Draft".
When you first click the create invoice button in the Work Order, you will be brought to a new tab with an invoice in the draft phase. You can input all of your invoice information here, or just get it started. You can upload documents, create line items, fill in the Scope of Work.
You can edit the Invoice Name, #, and the Bill to contact as well.
Any added documents will be added to the Work Order/Project once the Invoice Draft is saved.
We've also pulled forward the Invoice Instructions so you can see the clients invoice instructions when creating the invoice. The information at the top of the invoice has been rearranged to be easier to read and get the information for.
Duplicate Invoice: Rejected invoices will now have the option to 'Duplicate' the invoice, this used to be the 'Clone' option in the context menu. This creates a copy of the invoice that is in the open state. This allows you to make changes to the invoice per the rejection reason of the original.
You can duplicate by clicking the option in the top right of the rejected invoice, or by going into the context menu on an invoice that has not been rejected.

Clicking 'Duplicate' will bring you directly to the newly created invoice as well, and a link to the original invoice will be shown at the top under the invoice name.

The duplicated invoice # will also update to include a -1 at the end, to show that it is a duplicate. Duplicating the same invoice multiple times will increase the number at the end every time.
These changes also bring an update to the Work Summary dashboard tiles. For invoices, the Tracking # will now be displayed.
Creating a Vendor Invoice: Vendor Invoices have received the same improvement, plus an improvement to the Purchase Order selector for the invoice.

The selector has been updated to more clearly show the phase and PO # of the purchase orders that you can select from when creating the invoice.
