Addresses
When creating a client or vendor, it prompts you to select an Address type, and it automatically chooses and locks in all 3 types, Business, Billing, and Shipping.
The client/vendor is required to have at least 1 of each type of address and each address can have multiple types.
Business Address will always be the first address that was input during creation of the vendor. If the vendor ever moves, then this address will need to be edited, as the business address type cannot be selected for another address. The business address will be used as the main address and is what will populate the information for the vendors location when assigning a vendor from the Assign Vendor modal. This will automatically populate in the Service Areas.
Billing Address is unique as it allows you to assign a billing contact to the address. The billing address is the only address where a contact can be assigned.
The contacts that can be assigned to the billing address will be selectable from the contacts added to the client/vendor.
Shipping Address will act as an address to reference where the client/vendor has an office or workshop to send materials to. This address will not populate for the service areas, and you will be unable to assign a contact to these locations.
Editing/Deleting Addresses
When an address has been added to the client/vendor profile, then the addresses can be deleted (given there are still all 3 address types being used) or edited.
To edit the addresses, we have 2 options. We can left click on the address to open the 'Edit Address Modal', or we can right click on the address. Right clicking the address will bring up a menu to edit or delete. Selecting edit will also bring up the 'Edit Address Modal'
Attempting to delete an address when you do not have another address to cover all types will not allow you to select the option, and hovering over delete will display the reason.
Invalid Addresses
When an address is input, and does not validate, then the modal will prompt the user to input coordinates. Once valid Latitude and Longitude are input, then the address will validate and give the app a location to check distances against.
