The Vendor Alert is a place to input important information that you would want to see at a glance, without having to go into the vendor profile to find the information. You can see when a vendor has a Vendor Alert set when you see the exclamation symbol next to their vendor number in their profile.
Hovering over the exclamation symbol will show the alert that has been set for the vendor.
Setting an Alert
To set an alert for a vendor, go to the Vendor Profile, and click into the context menu. Select the 'Add Alert' option to open the Add Alert modal.
When you finish adding the alert hit 'Add' and the alert indicator will now be present when viewing the vendor.
Edit Alert
To edit the alert, go into the context menu again, and select the 'Edit Alert' option. This will bring up the Edit Alert modal, which is functionally the same as the Add Alert modal, make your changes and save.
Delete Alert
When editing an alert, you can either select the 'Remove' option in the bottom left of the modal, or you can clear all text in the Alert box and then save. Both ways will delete the alert from the vendor.
