Service Areas will be the home for the locations used by a vendor to appear in the Vendor Assignment modal. Any address or location that is input into Service Areas will provide a point for the Vendor Assignment modal to help provide more accurate results when searching for a vendor to hire for a work order or project.
When a vendor is first created, the address that is input for their location is automatically input into their service area. Editing that address after the profile is created, will not update the Service Area. You will have to update the service area for the change in address as well.
From this page, you can Add or Delete a Service Area. To add a service area, you can input any of the following:
- City
- State
- Country
- County
- Zip Code
- Address
Inputting an address will provide a direct point to give a service radius from. Inputting the less direct location information will allow the vendor to appear in the Vendor Assignment modal within those input locations.
